Alonzo Rhodes

Mr. Alonzo Scipio Rhodes, the son of the late Curtis and Mary Lucky was born on August 4,1967 in Hartsville, South Carolina,. On Sunday, December 19, 2021, our dear brother answered the call of his Heavenly Father and transitioned to his final resting place. He is now resting comfortably upon the bosom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

He received his education in the public schools in Darlington County. Alonzo was a Class of 1985 Hartsville High School graduate.

Upon graduation, he was employed with Tadlock and W K Enterprises. Alonzo loved playing football, and watching those Dallas Cowboys.

He was a member of Nazareth New Apostolic Church in Jesus Christ, Incorporation.

Alonzo was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Mary Lucky; and three uncles, Junior Lee Rhodes, Frank Rhodes, and Jessie Rhodes.

Those left to cherish his loving memories are: two sons, Darrell Tedder and Darius Rhodes both of Hartsville, South Carolina; two daughters, Shaneka Rhodes of Bridgeport, Connecticut and Shana Rhodes of Daytona, Florida; two adopted daughters, Ebone and Sherrika Jett both of Hartsville, South Carolina; two siblings, Anthony Rhodes and Shana (James) Scipio both of Hartsville, South Carolina; two aunts, Margaret Rhodes of Columbia, South Carolina and Barbara Rhodes of Gaffney, South Carolina; two uncles, Earl (Cynthia) Rhodes of Hartsville, South Carolina and Linson Rhodes of Bridgeport, Connecticut; eight grandchildren; one godbrother, Tony Brown; and a host nieces, nephews, close relatives, and friends.
