Annie M. Peace

February 27, 1938 — April 9, 2025

Mrs. Annie Mae Peace 87, was born to the late Lois and the late John Sanders in Timmonsville, South Carolina on February 27th, 1938. She was the second youngest of five children.. Annie transitioned to her eternal resting place, Wednesday, April 9, 2025.

She moved to Florence, South Carolina, as a young child. She graduated from Wilson High School in Florence, South Carolina in 1958. In her twenties she moved in up north and stayed with family.

In July of 1965, Annie was joined in marriage to the late Bobby N. Peace.

While in New Jersey, she was employed as a nanny, and a housekeeper before obtaining her certification as a Home Health Aide. Therefore, she became known to many, including her grandchildren, as Nanny . Annie worked for Sage Home Healthcare in Summit, New Jersey for 27 years. She was presented with an award for Home Health Aide of the year by the Mayor of Summit.

While in Vauxhall, New Jersey, she was a prominent and active member of Glad Tidings Pentecostal Church and served on the Usher Board. Upon retiring, she moved back to her hometown of Florence, South Carolina and became an active member at House of God Church Keith Dominion in Florence, South Carolina, under the leadership of the late Elder Elijah Green, until her health declined.

Annie Peace was loved by many as a strong, caring and kind soul. She welcomed people in her home as though they were family and did whatever she could for those in need . She was full of wisdom, as well as love for the Lord and love for keeping her things in order. Annie was the last surviving sibling.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bobby N. Peace; and four siblings, Naomi, Arlene, Leroy, and Vernon.

She leaves behind to cherish her precious memories: two children, Barbara Peace and David Peace; a bonus daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Sampson Robinson; six grandchildren, Ashley, Samantha, Sam, Priscilla, Zaire, and Egypt; two great grandchildren, Pristina and Anthony; a loving cousin, Bernice Jordan; nieces; nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She is now in the hands of the Lord and will be greatly missed.
