On Thursday, August 26, 2021, God in His Infinite Wisdom summoned a flower, Elect-Lady Carmen Lottie Rodriguez White from her earthly labor to a heavenly reward. Mrs. White born May 13, 1978, 10th child of eleven, blessed to the union of the late Deacon Esteban Rodriguez and the late Mother Irene Rodriguez. Mrs. White was born and raised in Peekskill, NY where she gained prolific insight on her predestined challenging walk-in life.
As her life expanded, Mrs. White prepared to become creative and versatile in every facet of her life. She started by completing her education in 2013, which as one family member says, “this was a very momentous, encouraging and inspiring moment in our community and lives.” Mrs. White was humorous and resourceful but maintained her integrity and dignity to a higher standard. Although life threw its grievant curveballs, Mrs. White would simply reply in the midst of it all, “...Jesus paid it all.” Not only did Mrs. White show an abundance of love wherever she went but she also was very proficient in her talents. Mrs. Elect Lady Carmen White was an expert in Arts-N-Crafts and flourished with this particular skill that produced quality workmanship. She is the founder and co-owner of Blessed Hands Creations.
Mrs. White was a devoted mother, a loving and caring woman of God. She was a member of Bibleway Church in Charlotte; NC where she served proudly with the choir before relocating to Florence, SC. While in Florence, SC she met and married her husband, Reverend Tory White. As she settled physically her thirst for righteousness grew and she followed her husband to Majority Missionary Baptist Church in Florence, SC where she was a faithful member and where she continued to exercise her gifts in ministry. Mrs. White loved where she was assigned to and remained connected as the mantle of faith was ever-so present in her lifestyle as a Christian under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Alfonso Porter and Lady Lois Porter.
In her earlier years, Mrs. Carmen White was employed as a Caregiver for hospice care and loved working with children. At her transition she was employed at Ruiz Foods in Florence County, SC.
Mrs. Elect Lady Carmen White was proceeded in life by her brothers Dennis Eaddy, Elvin Eaddy, Sr. and sister-in-love Jamie Eaddy.
Surviving to cherish her precious loving memories and her legacy are, her husband Rev. Tory White, her children Willie Rodriquez, Da’Anna Rodriguez, Jacob Rodriguez, Jamonz Rodriguez-Connor, Elizabeth King Rodriguez, Samuel King, Tory White, Clarissa White and Taquashyia White and five grandchildren who were the center of her joy. Surviving siblings, Steven (Becky) Rodriguez, Edna Rodriguez-Hall, Christopher Eaddy, Moses (Catherine) Eaddy, Samuel (Amani) Rodriguez, David Rodriguez, Joseph (Tawanna) Rodriguez, James Rodriguez, Anthony Smalls (special cousin), Willie “Luddy” Woodberry (special aunt); brother-in-love, Corey (Amy) White and Aundrae White and mother-in-love, Deaconess Willie White; a host of nieces and nephews with other relatives and dear friends who will dearly miss her.
