Mr. David Kentrell Johnson affectionately known as “Dave” or” Big Bro” was born April 11, 2007 to Mr. David Johnson and Mrs. Queen McFadden Johnson in Florence, South Carolina. He exchanged this earthly life to receive his crown on August 16, 2024 at his residence in Florence, South Carolina.

David attended Wilson High School in Florence, South Carolina and graduated in 2024. He was a huge fan of the Carolina Panthers, NASCAR racing and collecting Diecast cars. He enjoyed watching all of the televisions in the house while controlling all of the remotes simultaneously. He enjoyed listening to music, as well as his iPad and everyone else's phones.

David was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Roland and Annie Bell Johnson, and his maternal grandparents, Willie James and Mary McFadden, as well as two aunts, Annie Holmes and Ester Mae Graham, and one uncle, Tim Johnson.

Those left to cherish David’s memory, including his loving parents, are his seven siblings, Azyria Maria Johnson and Kwamier Da’tron Johnson both of the home; Dawud Kwameir Johnson, Denea Paterce Johnson, Jkema Sherel Johnson all of Florence, South Carolina; Demetrious (Ashley) Barr of Columbia, South Carolina, and Davion Ahmeir Mahon Johnson of Patterson, New Jersey. Six Uncles: Roland Johnson, and Herbert Johnson both of Lake City, South Carolina, Leroy Johnson of Macon , Georgia, Henry (Bonita) McFadden of Florence, South Carolina, Harry Ramsey and Henry Ramsey both of Hemingway, South Carolina. Thirteen Aunts: Elease Mickens, Jannie Dickson , Glory ( Samuel) Anderson all of Florence, South Carolina, Eliza Richardson of Danville Virginia, Catherine Thomas and Jeanette Faison both of Lake City, South Carolina, Sally (AC) Gary of Macon Georgia, Mary (Darren) Chisolm of Salters, South Carolina, Nicole McFadden of Kingstree, South Carolina, Fannie McAllister of Florence, South Carolina, and Janie Gamble and Alice Ramsey both of Hemingway, South Carolina. Six nephews: Montravios Thomas, Jaylin Johnson, Donovan Outlaw Jr., and Kingston Park all of Florence, South Carolina, Isaiah Reasor and Mazzi Barr both of Columbia, South Carolina. Two nieces: Zoey Danielle Barr and Laila Reasor both of Columbia, South Carolina; and a host of cousins, friends, an incredible caretaker, Michelle Underwood and an amazing shadow who has been with him from the first day of school, Sharon Hardee.
