Dianne McWhite

Ms. Dianne McWhite was born November 23, 1956 to the late David McWhite and Elma Lee McNeil McWhite in Pamplico, South Carolina. She was the baby of seven siblings. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 27, 2022.

Dianne attended the Public School System at Gibbs Elementary School, Gibbs Middle School , and Hannah Pamplico High School in Pamplico, South Carolina. She later attended Durham College in North Carolina, where she studied Secretarial Science. She was a member of Alpha Beta Chapter of Gamma Sigma Sigma Sorority.

At an early age, Dianne accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized at Aimwell Baptist Church in Pamplico, South Carolina under the leadership of Reverend Jasper L. Brooks.

She was an entrepreneur of Dianne McWhite Day Care Center in Hartford, Connecticut for many years before gaining employment with the United Postal Service for several years and later gained employment with a local bank before her health declined and relocated to South Carolina.

Dianne leaves to cherish her precious memories as her legacy lives on: two sons, Roosevelt “B J” Penn Ransom, Jr. and Reynold Price “Ray Ray” Ransom grandchildren, Roosevelt Penn “Trey” Ransom, III, Mahla Rihanna Jones, and Hartford Carter Ransom; six siblings along with their families, Georgie Lee McWhite Robinson (the wife of Calvin E. Robinson, Sr.) along with their children Kathy Robinson, Shirley Robinson, Dr. Calvin E., Jr. (Ann Gunning) Robinson; grandchildren, Avril Robinson (Demetrius) Troupe, Amel Robinson (Delonore) Troupe, Calvin E. (Briana) Robinson, III, Quincy (Sophear) Greene and Bennie Greene, Jr. ; Dixie McWhite along with her children, Wanda Brown, Roger Brown, and Audrey “Tiny” Brown, grandchildren, Marcus Brown, Brianna Brown, Taylor Brown, and Jowelle; Jimmy McWhite (the husband of Rosa Joe Grant McWhite) along with their child, Audrey McWhite (Jeff ) Greaves grandchildren, Nancy Greaves and Amanda Greaves; Arthur McWhite (the husband of Annelle Whitehead McWhite) along with their children Toney McWhite and Arthur Renand McWhite, grandchildren, Leah Emma McWhite, Ayanna Savage and Elijah McWhite; Samuel McWhite (the husband of Katie McWhite) along with his daughter, Emma Lennette McWhite, grandchildren, Antonio Henry and Christine Henry; David Franklin McWhite, Sr. (the husband of Kathy Addison McWhite) along with their children, Vida Olivia McWhite McCullough and David Franklin, Jr. (Kisha) McWhite, grandson, Niko McWhite and a host of other relatives and friends.
