Mrs. Ella Mae Fields Moore was born on December 28, 1940 in Chesterfield County, daughter of the late Reverend Simon Fields and the late Anna Bell Gattison. On Tuesday, July 26, 2022, she departed this earthly realm.
Ella received her education in the Chesterfield County Public School System. She was employed with an Manufacturing Company for several years.
Ella was a member of Ousleydale Baptist Church where she served faithfully on the Choir and Missionary Organization. She was a role model in her community.
Ella was married to Reverend Sylvester John Moore for 57 years and this union was blessed with four sons.
Ella an outgoing loving lady, loved to spread the good gossip of Jesus to all; young and old.
Ella indulged in crocket, fishing, word puzzles, and flowers. She served as the First Lady of several churches that her husband, Reverend Moore pastored. Ella loved her family and others unconditionally, but most of all she loved the Lord.
Ella was preceded in death by her parents, Reverend Simon Fields and Anna Bell Gattison; and a son, Orlando Eric Moore.
Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Reverend Sylvester John Moore; three sons, Calvin Fields, Vincent John Moore (Mashanda), and Randall Lee Moore (Dorothy); eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one brother, Garland (Alberta) Fields; two sisters, Lorener (Charles) Butler and Lilly (Herman) Johnson; an adopted daughter, Debra Miller; and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, and close friends.
