Mr. Floyd Anthony “Mack” Dingle, Sr. a native of Charleston, South Carolina was born February 23, 1964 to the late Alethia Dingle. He transitioned to his heavenly home on Thursday, March 3, 2022, in Florence, South Carolina.
He graduated from C.A. Brown High School in Charleston, South Carolina .
Floyd grew up on the east side of Charleston on Jackson Street and Amherst Street. Floyd lived in Florence, South Carolina with his wife, Azalea Dingle for several years before relocating to Atlanta, Georgia where he resided until his health declined.
Floyd was employed by Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia as a Floor Tech Manager. He was also employed with Burnette Cleaning Service.
Floyd enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was an avid Dallas Cowboys football fan.
Floyd enjoyed eating crabs on his visits with his mother and sister in Charleston, South Carolina. He was fun to be around and loved making others laugh. His unforgettable laugh and smile will be missed.
Floyd was preceded in death by his loving mother, Alethia E. Dingle; and his beloved older sister, Althea E. Guest.
Floyd leaves to cherish countless memories: two children, Floyd “Mack” Dingle Jr. and Shameika McDougal; three brothers, Michael Dingle, Terald Dingle, Sr. (Tracey), and Antonio Dingle (Maria); a sister-in-law, Althea Dingle; his grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
