Mr. Geroman “Rome” Robinson was born on June 9, 1963 in Florence, South Carolina, to the late Andrew Robinson and Mary Lee Coward. He departed this life on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at his home.
Geroman was educated in Florence County Public School Systems and attended South Florence High School. He was an athlete that loved playing basketball during his High School years.
“Rome” as he was affectionately known to his family and those who loved him
was currently a Taxi Cab Driver in the Pee Dee Region, worked until his demise.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Robinson and Mary Lee Coward; an uncle, Benny Capehart; and one sister, Wanda Coward.
Geroman a loving father, a grandfather, unique brother, smiling nephew, kindhearted friend, dependable cab driver, a jokester, had a big personality, a hard worker who was helpful to anyone in need.
Those left to cherish his precious memories are his children, Candace Cooley, Jerome Robinson, Anisha Romel Singletary, Breon Gerrald, Brianna Gerrald and Bridget Cooley; two grandchildren; four sisters, Shannon Coward, Sharon McNeil, Jackie Coward, and Kimberly Coward; three brothers, Derrick Coward, Stanley Coward, and Lawrence Kirby Brown; two aunts, Trubalee McDowell and Patricia Capehart; one uncle, Raymond Capehart; two special friends, Frank Harrison and Mack Douglas; and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, and dear friends.
