Mrs. Gladys H. Warren Julious was born October 5, 1943 in Dayton, Ohio to parents, Virginia Jackson Cook and Clennan Warren. She was the fourteenth of fifteen children. She departed this life on Monday, July 29, 2024.
In her early years, Gladys attended school in Harlem, New York where she met Joseph Julious in 1958. They married January 31,1959 and to this union three children were born: Lynette, Waymond and Joseph. After raising her children, Gladys decided to further her education by getting her General Education Diploma (GED) and attending Nursing School.
Gladys was known to have a feisty personality. She was kind, high energy and high spirited, which she instilled in her children.
Gladys loved her family, but enjoyed cooking for them as well as planning and going to events. She was very supportive in her children’s and grandchildren’s endeavors. She also was always willing to share words of wisdom for her family and friends. She collected friends wherever she went.
Over the years, Gladys acquired many hobbies. She had a passion for arts, crafts and enjoyed making decorations. She loved Fashion so much that all of her closets were bursting with clothes and shoes in every hue. She also enjoyed sewing beautiful curtains, clothes and a plethora of other crafts.
Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, Virginia Jackson Cook and Clennan Warren; her husband, Joseph Julious; thirteen siblings, Janet, Marguerite, Georgia, Charlotte, George, Sylvia, Faith, Flora, Virginia, Marilyn, Rosalie, Clennan, Frances; a granddaughter, Jessica; a son-in-law, Roy Barr; and her furry friend, Codi.

Gladys presence, laughter, sense of humor, nurturing and cooking (definitely the cooking) will be missed by all, but her love for us will remain.
Please keep the family of Gladys Hazel Julious in your thoughts and prayers.
