Funeral service for Mrs. Italy McKever Perrin will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, February 1, 2020 at J. O. & Annette Smith Memorial Chapel, 307 S. Johns St., Florence. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens, directed by Smith Funeral Home of Florence, LLC.

Mrs. Italy McKever Perrin, daughter of the late Mr. Sylvester McKever, Sr. and Mrs. Alberta James McKever was born October 17, 1934 in Florence County, South Carolina. She departed this life Monday, January 27, 2020, at the age of eighty-five. She was educated in the Florence County Public School System.

Mrs. Italy was a member of Christ Fellowship Baptist Church in Brooklyn, New York. She was employed as a Dental Assistant for many years, until she retired.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Antoine Perrin; five brothers, Sylvester McKever, Jr., Willie McKever, Wilford McKever, Johnny McKever, and Raymond McKever; five sisters, Rosa Lee Richardson, Sarah Ashley, Oneather Johnson, Louise Brown, and Elease McKever.

Mrs. Italy life, precious memories, smile, kind and easy going spirit, love of watching wrestling, but most of all her love of God will always be remembered and cherished by: her three sisters, Lauretta Williams and Cathleen Ramos both of Brooklyn, New York and Mildred (Ulysses) Brockington of Hinesville, Georgia; one sister-in-law, Maryann McKever; a host of nephews; nieces; other relatives and dear friends.
