Deaconess Jacqueline “Jackie” Bailey Rhodes, the daughter of the late Leon Bailey, Jr. and Vermell S. Bailey was born December 12, 1963 in Brookhaven, New York. On December 24, 2021, God summoned Jacqueline, affectionately called “Jackie” home to rest.
Jackie was educated in the public schools of Darlington County. She was an self-employed entrepreneur of Jackie’s Cleaning Service. She loved to clean, and her business was steadily growing.
At the time of her death, Deaconess Jacqueline fellowshipped at Christ Cathedral Ministries, in Hartsville, South Carolina, under the leadership of Pastor Christopher Morgan. She loved the Lord, and served in several capacities of the church. She was a Deaconess, Head Youth Sunday School Teacher, Church Secretary, Usher, and took great pride in cleaning the church. She was also active on the Evangelistic team ministering to inmates and people in the community and volunteered with the Pee Dee Regional Long Term Care Ombudsman Program.
Deaconess Jacqueline will be remembered as a pillar in the church and community.
Deaconess Jacqueline was joined in holy matrimony to Larry Rhodes, her longtime sweet heart and friend, on March 17, 2012.

Those left to cherish her precious memories are her husband Larry Rhodes of the home; a son, Reginald (Jahalia) Bailey of Hartsville, South Carolina; two daughters, Regina Bailey and Tiffany Bryant both of Hartsville, South Carolina; and one step daughter, Fanchon Lakendra Jackson of Hartsville, South Carolina; six sisters, Carolyn Smith, Tracy (Trenton) Young, Sammara (Michael) Goodson all of Hartsville, South Carolina, Nicole Bailey of Fairburn, Georgia, Jaquinta Bailey and Leondrea Bailey both of Antioch, Tennessee; three brothers, Christopher (Lithia) L. Bailey of Springs, Georgia, Terrell 00. (Tish) Bailey and Christopher V. Bailey of Hartsville, South Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
