James Glover

Mr. James Glover, Jr., the son of the late James Glover, Sr. and Helen Wragg Glover, was born on October 3, 1945. He entered into his eternal home on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center in Florence,South Carolina, after a long illness.

 

James was born and reared in Russellville, South Carolina and it was there thathe attended school. While in Brooklyn, James found meaningful employment and later started a family.

 

James was employed with Bloom Box Manufacturing Company and Standard Folding Box Company for many years until he retired. Shortly after his retirement, James moved back to Florence, South Carolina.

 

James was married to Rosa Lee Wilson and to this union they were blessed with three sons.

 

Loved ones left to mourn his passing are: former wife and the mother of his children, Rosa Lee Wilson of Eadytown, South Carolina; three sons, David of Holly Hill, South Carolina, Magnetic Shabaze (Leslie) of Bronx, New York and Anthony (Alyieh) of Florence, South Carolina; eleven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Willie Glover (Diane) and Robert Glover (Faye) both of Brooklyn, New York; two sisters, Gloria (Elder William) Moore of

Florence, South Carolina and Betty Glover (Harry) of Brooklyn, New York; one uncle, Charles Wragg (Janice) of Teaneck, New Jersey; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 

God we thank you for allowing us to have James Glover, Jr. for seventy-seven loving years.
