Janice A. Holloway

Ms. Janice Holloway was born on August 1, 1964 in Florence, South Carolina, to the late Mrs. Margaret Jackson Holloway and the late Mr. Wallace Brockington. She departed this life at McLeod Regional Medical Center on November 10, 2023.

Janice attended the Florence County Elementary and Middle Public Schools and later attended Wilson High School in Florence, South Carolina. She was a dedicated Service Worker for many years, until her health declined.   

At an early age, Janice attended Majority Baptist Church in Florence, South Carolina through the course of her life. 

Janice a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother will always be remembered for her great attributes (words of wisdom, kindness, and caring, thoughtful ways).

Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Mrs. Margaret Jackson Holloway and Mr. Wallace Brockington; a brother, Carolina Holloway; and two sisters, Ida Bell Holloway and Patricia Holloway.

Janice leaves to cherish her loving memories: three daughters, Monica Holloway, Sherema Holloway and Traqiuanna Wilson all of Florence, South Carolina; the loves of her life, eleven grandchildren, Marquez Holloway, Valjedia Sanders, Nasir Sanders, Ty’Quavon Martin, Kyledja Holloway, Makaylin Galbreath, Serenity Green, Londynn Wilson, , Josiah Gurley and Tamera Gurley; six great grandchildren, four brothers, Kevin (Rosetta) Holloway, Samuel (Victoria) Holloway, Wallace Brockington, Jr. all of Florence, South Carolina and Dupont McWhite of Columbia, South Carolina; three sisters, Oliver (Joe) Waiters and Deloris Eagles both of Florence, South Carolina and Annie Jackson of Tifton, Georgia; one aunt, Julia B. Mack of Florence, South Carolina; one uncle, Mingo Jackson of Wilmington, North Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
