Jimmy Lee Johnson, Jr.

Mr. Jimmy Lee “Jimmy Jam” Johnson, Jr. was born in  Florence, South Carolina to the late Alzina Ellison and the late Jimmy Lee Johnson, Sr. on January 9, 1967. He passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022. 

Jimmy attended public schools in Florence School District One. He grew up on the Westside of Florence and was an avid lover of basketball. 

Jimmy was a  painter by trade.  

Jimmy actively attended  Whosoever Community Church in Florence, South Carolina, where he was baptized under the leadership of Reverend Thomas W. Bo Myers. 

Jimmy will be remembered for his beautiful contagious smile, kind attitude,  well-mannered disposition. loving ways, and thoughtful service to others. He will be missed dearly at Whosoever Community Church and in the East Florence Community.

Jimmy leaves to cherish a daughter, Latrice Graham of Florence, South Carolina; a brother, Edward (Beverly) Smalls of Florence, South Carolina; a sister, Pamela Wright of Florence, South Carolina; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends to include his dear friends, Reverend Thomas W. “Bo”  Myers and Jeremiah Moses, Sr. aka “Pokey” and the East Florence Community.
