Funeral service for Leatha "Lisa" James Prince will be conducted 11 AM, Friday, December 27, 2019 at J.O. & Annette Smith Memorial Chapel, 307 S.Johns St., Florence directed by Smith Funeral Home of Florence, LLC. Mrs. Letha James Prince, the daughter of the late Johnny Lee Washington and the late Clander Mae James was born February 7, 1969 in Florence County. She departed this earthly life Thursday, December 19, 2019. Letha affectionately known to family and friends as "Lisa" attended the Public Schools of Florence School District One and was a proud graduate of South Florence High School. Letha was joined in holy matrimony to Bobby Prince, March 2003, her friend and confidant, after having met in 1991. Letha was a member of Gregg Avenue Church of Christ in Florence, South Carolina under the leadership of Minister Jim Yarian. . Letha was employed with the Wash Tub, until her health declined. Letha was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Lee Washington and Clander Mae James; two brothers, Calvin James and Thaddeus James; and one sister, Rachel Waiters. Letha leaves to cherish: her husband, Bobby Prince; one stepdaughter, Allison Prince; one step grand-daughter, Gabriel "Gabby" Prince; five brothers, Ronald James, David James, Johnny (Ruth) McCray, Luther Jackson, Jr., and Travis Anderson; six sisters, Elizabeth James, Catherine Wright, Mildred James, Tammy Anderson, Trinidad Anderson, and Trina Anderson; a host of nephews; nieces; other relatives; and friends.
