Lorenzo A. Durant

Mr. Lorenzo Antwane Durant was born in Florence, South Carolina on January 8, 1986, to Maybelline Jackson and Lorenzo Jackson. He transitioned to his resting place at home on Saturday, April 20, 2024.

Although our time with Lorenzo  was short, our hearts will forever be filled with joy and honor because we were graced with his presence for thirty-eight years.

Lorenzo was a 2005 graduate of Darlington High School in Darlington, South Carolina.

Lorenzo was dedicated to his family and friends. He was not a stranger to anyone. He loved to laugh, was very talkative and loved to brag about his favorite football team, the San Francisco 49ers.

Lorenzo was preceded in death by an aunt, Mae Willis Jackson; and an uncle, Curtis Junior Durant.

Lorenzo leaves to cherish his precious memories: his parents, Maybelline Jackson and Lorenzo Jackson; a sister, Shannon Laskeka Jackson; nine  aunts, Gloria (Wade) Sutton of Darlington, South Carolina, Clara (Phillip) Washington of Florence, South Carolina, Linda (Donald) Jackson of Darlington, South Carolina, Camelia Smith of Florence, South Carolina, Leslie Durant of Hartsville, South Carolina, Joyce (Charles) Young of Florence, South Carolina, Hester (Thomas) Brown of Darlington, South Carolina and Della (Grotus) Devaughan of Darlington, South Carolina; four uncles, Ben Durant of Florence, South Carolina, George (Joan) Durant of Florence, South Carolina, Hercule Jackson of Darlington, South Carolina and Jesse Jackson of Columbia, South Carolina; one great aunt, Ella Louise Douglas of Florence, South Carolina; a godmother, Shawn Campbell; and godbrother, Kevon Campbell of Hartsville, South Carolina; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
