Mrs. Lovoris Perkins Coe, born March 10, 1966 in Darlington County was the daughter of Cora Mae Johnson Pompey and the late Howard Perkins. She entered eternal rest on Friday, July 22, 2022 at her home amongst her loved ones.
She was educated in the Public Schools of Darlington County and was a graduate of Hartsville High School in Hartsville, South Carolina.
Lovoris, a child of God was a member of New Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church and an avid lover of Gospel music.
Lovoris employed with Suburban Extended Stay for twenty plus years held the position as Assistant General Manager until July 2022.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, loved shopping, fishing, eating delicious foods. Lovoris was a hard worker and when she wasn’t working she took special trips. She loved everyone and always had a positive outlook on life and had advice for everyone. She wasn’t to worry because she trust in the Lord.
Lovoris was preceded in death by her father, Howard Perkins; one brother, Lorenzo Johnson; a special special friend, Angel Moses; and a special friend, Lillian Casley.
Those left to cherish her memories are her mother, Cora Mae Johnson Pompey of the home; one son, Anthony (Davonna) Sellers of Hartsville, South Carolina: one niece, Valshonda Johnson of Darlington, South Carolina; one nephew, Shontavius Hunter of Darlington, South Carolina; five grandchildren, Teon Sellers, Keyona Sellers, Shaniya Sellers, Amari Sellers, and Jazir Reardon; three great nephews, Kavondre, Zyterion Jones, and Jakarri Johnson; two uncles; four aunts; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at 1253 Meadow Lark Lane, Darlington, SC.
