Graveside Service for Miss Mary Ann Player will be conducted 10:00 AM Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Sunset Memory Gardens, 2615 Alligator Rd., Florence. Interment will follow, directed by Smith Funeral Home of Florence, LLC. Mary Ann Player, the daughter of late Willie Mae McCoy was born March 5, 1954 in Florence County. She departed this earthly life on Friday, December 13, 2019. Mary was full of life and brought joy to everyone that knew her. Mary relocated to Marion, South Carolina after meeting the love of her life, Gregory Scott. She was preceded in death by her mother, Willie Mae McCoy; grandmother, Lina Mae Jordan; grandfather, Johnny Jordan; four uncles; and four aunts. She leaves to cherish precious memories: her sister, Robyn Smith; a nephew,Michael Jordan McCoy; her life partner for over 10 years, Gregory Scott; two uncles, Joseph Jordan and Edward Mac (Elizabeth) Jordan; five nieces; her best friend, Diane Ellis of over 20 years; a host of other relatives; and friends The family will receive friends at 1630 E.
