Michael Capehart was born December 16, 1976, in Florence County, to Deloris Capehart and Lacy Scott. He departed this life on Saturday, March 27, 2024.
“Mike Mike” as he was affectionately called attended Florence County Public Schools and was a graduate of South Florence High School.
Michael was self-employed.
Michael enjoyed worshipping at Anointed Word Bible Way Church in Timmonsville, South Carolina, He served faithfully as a parking attendant.
Michael, a family-oriented man, enjoyed being a father and the neighborhood handyman.
Michael was preceded in death by a brother, Diondre Capehart: and one uncle, Bruce Scott.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his parents, Deloris Capehart of Dillon, South Carolina and Lacy Scott of Arkansas; two children, Imanuel Capehart and La’Miyah Capehart of the home; three brothers, Daniel (Lasandra) Capehart of Dillon, South Carolina, Demetrius Capehart of Florence, South Carolina and Anthony Scott of Mississippi; three sisters, Crystal (James) Ross of Darlington, South Carolina, Myesha Scott, and Candice Scott of Mississippi; a special friend, Lucy Harrison of Florence, South Carolina; a maternal grandmother, Trubelee McDowell of Dillon, South Carolina; a best friend, Anna Harrison of Florence, South Carolina; eight uncles, Donald Ray Capehart, Tommy Scott, Ernest (Wilma) Scott, and Henry (Kimberely) Scott all of Florence, South Carolina, Gordon (Alfreda) Scott of Effingham, South Carolina, Wayne Scott of Winnsboro, South Carolina, Travis (Tina) Scott and Tron Scott both of Condor, North Carolina; three aunts, Debbie Scott of Florence, South Carolina, Cathy (Wendell) Hickson both of Florence, South Carolina, and Renee Bennette of Condor, North Carolina; step grandmother, Dolly Mae Scott of Condor, North Carolina; and a host of nieces, to include his beloved oldest niece, Myashia Moore, nephews, other relatives and friends.
