Mr. Michael Bernard Kelly was born September 9, 1962, the son of Georgia Mae “Jack” Spears Kelly and the late Leroy “Roy” Kelly. He passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021 in United States Virgin Islands.

“Mike” as he was affectionately attended school in Florence County and was a proud graduate of South Florence High School Class of 1980. Michael received Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. He joined Greater Saint Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church in the Claussen Community, where he served on the Usher Board. He later joined Salem United Methodist Church also in Claussen Community and continue his commitment to God and the Church by serving as a door keeper on the Usher Board and Pastor Parish Relations Committee (PPRC) Board.

Michael was united in holy matrimony to Gail Kennedy on January 2, 1988. This union was blessed with three children.

Michael was currently coaching a basketball team which he loved to do. He enjoyed sports and working with young boys in all types of sports.
