Paul Oliver Daniels, affectionately known as “Tommy”, was born on March 17, 1960, in Florence, South Carolina to the late Edward and Bessie Bradley Daniels. At age 64, he entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 18, 2024.
“Tommy” was educated in Florence County schools and graduated from South Florence High School in 1980. While in school, he enjoyed playing football, running track, and took pride playing baseball for the East Florence Trojans.
Paul married his high school sweetheart, Carolyn Staten, on May 15, 1981.
Tommy began his career as a truck driver and drove for more than 15 years. Following his career as a truck driver, he changed career paths and began working in home improvement. He took pride in every home improvement project he completed. His handy work can be found all over the state of South Carolina.
In addition to his love for family, Tommy had many hobbies. One special hobby was fishing. He was an avid fisherman and you could often find him with a fishing pole somewhere nearby. In his down time, you could find him watching basketball, and his beloved football team, which he took pride in cheering for, which was the Washington Redskins now known as the
“Commanders”, and the occasional cartoon.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two siblings, Billy and Georgia.
