Robert Burch

Mr. Robert “Jimmy” Burch was born March 1, 1953 to Dorshia Waiters and the late Johnnie Junior Burch in Florence, South Carolina. He was also reared by his aunt, the late Vermel Saunders. He departed this earthly life on Thursday, November 11, 2021.

Robert attended Florence County Public Schools and later gained employment as a Concrete Finisher. In 1973, Robert enlisted in the United States Armed Forces. After serving our County in the United States Army for several years, he received an Honorable Discharge. He then began a new journey as he relocated to Florence, South Carolina.

“Jimmy” as he was affectionately called, enjoyed life living, and had a great love of people.

Robert was preceded in death by his father, Johnnie Junior Burch; an aunt, Vermel Saunders; along with other close relatives and friends.

Robert leaves to cherish his precious memories: his loving mother, Doshia Waiters of Florence, South Carolina; an aunt, Ruby Waiters of Florence, South Carolina; four special cousins, Nydeah Brown, a dedicated caregiver who provided him with her loving tender care, Wanda Waiters, Emma Lee Addison, and Renee Waiters all of Florence, South Carolina; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
