Shandra Timmons

Ms. Shandra Delores Timmons, the daughter of Roshelle Timmons and the late Rosetta Jones Timmons was born March 11, 1962 in Miami, Florida. She departed this life on Friday, November 5, 2021 in Commander Nursing Home located in Florence, South Carolina, after an illness.

She attended Miami-Dade County Schools and was a 1980 graduate of Hialeah Miami Lakes High School in Hialeah, Florida.

Shandra relocated to Florence, South Carolina after High School and joined Goodland African Methodist Episcopal Church.

She was employed with several Daycares throughout her career and was last employed by Bethea Retirement Community before her health declined.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Rosetta Jones Timmons; a brother, Alfred Timmons; and a sister, Pamela Timmons Daniels.

Shandra leaves to cherish her precious memories: a daughter, Keshawn Timmons of Effingham, South Carolina; two sons, Christopher J. Moody and Andre Moody both of Effingham, South Carolina; her father, Roshelle Timmons of Effingham, South Carolina; five grandchildren all of Effingham, South Carolina; a great granddaughter of Effingham, South Carolina; a brother, John (Rose) Timmons of Effingham, South Carolina; two uncles, Thomas (Oliva) Timmons of Florence, South Carolina and Mannie Lee Jackson of Miami, Florida; an aunt, Ella Mae Lance of Jacksonville, Florida; two special friends that were like sisters, Delores Graham Timmons of Effingham, South Carolina and Dee Williams of Florence, South Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
