Willie Pearson

Funeral service for Mr. Willie Alfred Pearson will be conducted 1:00 PM Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Laurel Hill AME Church in Manning, SC. Interment will follow in Carolina Johnson Cemetery, directed by Smith Funeral Home of Florence, LLC. Willie, the third of seven children, was born to the late Cicero and Bertha Pearson on born August 16, 1955, in Manning, South Carolina. Willie attended Miami-Dade County Public System and was a graduate of Miami Jackson Senior High School in Miami, Florida. Willie was employed with Florida Screen Company as a professional truck driver for twenty years. Willie was joined in marital bliss to the late Faye McWilliams-Pearson, his wife and best friend. Willie loved to cook on the grille and a nice to everyone he came in contact with. Willie was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Betty Milton. Willie leaves to cherish his precious memories; two brothers, Harry L. (Grace) Pearson and Leon G. (Dorothy) Pearson both of Miami, Florida; three sisters, Ernestine R. Roberson of Florence, South Carolina, Shirley P. (Cordell) Archer and Melinda Y. Pearson both of Miami, Florida; two step-daughters,Ateimia H. Guy and Khanya Maxwell both of Miami, Florida; two uncles, Junior (Genell) J. Pearson of Sumter, South Carolina and Joseph (Dora) Pearson of Miami, Florida; one aunts, Mary McCutheon of Columbia, South Carolina; a host of cousins; other relatives and friends.
